Proposals for improvements to the Parker Street Entrance at Glenwood Cemetery will be received at the office of the Department of Public Works, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754. Up until, no later than September 13, 2012. Proposal forms are required and specifications are available at the Department of Public Works Office, M-F 9:00 am to 4 pm (195 Main Street).
The Town of Maynard reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, wholly or in part and to award a contract deemed in the best interest of the Town of Maynard.

Although we have had no positive mosquitoes identified in Maynard, the Board of Health would like to remind residents to use insect repellant, cover up exposed skin, and avoid outdoor activities at dusk and nighttime, when mosquitoes are at their most active. The Town of Maynard Fire Department is seeking sealed bids on a Type I, Class I, Emergency Medical Vehicle. These specifications are written with the intent establishing a level of safety, quality and performance for a modern, well-equipped Emergency Medical Vehicle, insuring that the Town of Maynard Fire Department receives the best vehicle for the required services it shall perform. These specifications describe the minimum acceptable requirements.
Each bidder shall furnish satisfactory evidence of his ability to construct the apparatus herein specified, and state the location of facility where the apparatus is to be built.
