2017 Annual Town Census

All Maynard households will receive an annual town census form by mail in late December, 2016.

The census form will list all residents at your address; this includes children (children’s information is held as confidential). Please look it over and update if needed. Sign your census form and return it as soon as possible. The form must be returned even if there are no changes.

Three things you may not accomplish on your annual town census form:

  1. Register to vote
  2. Change your name
  3. Change your party affiliation

You must fill out the voter registration form in order to achieve any of these actions

Maintaining resident count is important. State and federal funding may be based on population count. If the town’s population count is low, certain funding may be lost.

At the bottom of the annual town census form you will find a 2017 dog license renewal/request form. Please complete this form if you are a dog owner and be sure to include the following:

Remember to license your dog(s) by February 28, 2017 or a late fee of $25 dollars will be applied.

Census forms and dog license renewal/request form and maybe mailed, dropped off at the Town Clerk’s Office or at the Maynard Public Library in the silver bins labeled “Annual Town Census”.
