Nomination papers will be available, Monday, January 9, 2017 for the Annual Town Election, Tuesday, May 2, 2017. The last day to obtain papers is Friday, March 10, 2017.
The following offices are open on the Election (revised 15-Feb-2017, 7-Mar-2017*):
- 2 Selectmen for a term of three years
- 2 School Committee member for a term of three years
- 1 Trustee of Public Library for a term of three years
- 1 Housing Authority Member for a term of 5 years
43 valid Maynard voter signatures are required.
Nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 195 Main Street.

(* In mid-February a one-year term seat of the Board of Selectmen opened up and was included in the open offices for May election. In early March it was determined that the opening of this seat was incompatible with the May election deadlines. The Board of Selectmen are expecting to vote to hold a Special Election in June to fill the vacant seat.)
