Annual Town Election Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots are now available for the Annual Town Election on May 2, 2017.

Applications are available from the Town Clerks’ Office 195 Main Street, Town Hall Building, Maynard, MA. 01754.

Voters who are unable to vote on election day because of physical disability, religious beliefs or travel may vote by absentee ballot. State law limits the availability of absentee ballots to the three listed circumstances only. Absentee ballots are not available for mere inconvenience, or because of ordinary commuting-related difficulties.

If you will be absent from Maynard for an extended period of time, you may submit a single application for all elections occurring within the calendar year the application is accepted.

You may vote at the Town Clerk’s Office before the Annual Town Election at a time arranged with the Town Clerk, or you may request to vote by mail.  Be sure to apply early.  Include on the application your name and address as registered, the address you wish the ballot to be mailed and  your own signature.

You must apply for an absentee ballot by 12:00 noon on Monday, May 1, 2017.
