UPDATE: We regret to announce that the Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather. However, there will be an indoor ceremony in the lower level here at Town Hall at 11AM and we hope you will consider attending. Included in this ceremony will be the dedication of the room in past Veterans Agent and Chief Warrant Officer, Stewart “Soup” Campbell’s honor.

Please join us for the dedication of the CWO Stewart T. “Soup” Campbell Room in the lower level of the Maynard Town Hall On Monday, May 29th 2017 immediately following the Memorial Day Parade.
Chief Warrant Officer, Stewart “Soup” Campbell, passed away on January 12th 2010, at the age of 92. In honor of his 30 years of U.S. Army service and many more years as the Town of Maynard’s Veterans Service Officer, lower-level meeting room/Hall of Honor is being proudly dedicated in his name.
Any veteran of any conflict is welcome to join us in the march. The parade will step off at 11:00am from the Mill & Main Sudbury Street lot, proceeding down Main Street to the first halt at the Main Street Bridge to remember those who lost their lives at sea. The parade will continue down Main Street, turning left onto Summer Street, stopping for the main ceremony halt at Memorial Park. We will then reform and progress down Nason Street and right onto Main Street to the parade’s conclusion in the rear parking lot behind the Town Hall. The dedication will immediately follow.
In case of inclement weather, a remembrance ceremony will be held in the lower level of Town Hall at 11:00am—the dedication will immediately follow.
