Full Time Assistant Assessor
The Town of Maynard (population 10,000+) seeks qualified applicants for the full time position of Assessor. Responsibilities for the position include all aspects of assessment administration and appraisal function for real and personal property and the day to day management of the office. The Assistant Assessor is engaged as an appraiser, manager of the Assessors Office and Executive Secretary to the Board of Assessors. The AA assists the Board of Assessors in the execution of their statutory duties as outlined in M.G. L. Chapter 59 Section 5 and reports to the Town Administrator on day to day management issues. Associated Degree, MAA designation, knowledge of M.G.L. Chapter 59 Section 38A/41 and acceptance as an expert witness before the ATB is required. EOE/AA
