Voter Registration

DEADLINES FOR VOTER REGISTRATION

To participate in state primaries, state elections, town elections and regularly
scheduled town meetings, you must register at least 20 days before. To participate in
special town meetings you must register at least 10 days before.

Absentee Ballots

Applications are available from the Town Clerks’ Office, 195 Main Street, Town Hall Building, Maynard, MA. 01754. Ballots are available approximately 3 weeks prior to the election.

You may vote at the Town Clerks Office before the Election at a time arranged with the Town Clerk, or you may request to vote by mail.  Be sure to apply early.  Include on the application your name and address as registered, the address you wish the ballot to be mailed and your own signature.  You must apply for an absentee ballot by 12:00 noon the day before the election.

If you have any questions regarding absentee voting, please call the Town Clerks’ Office at 897-1000.
