Member/ Maynard Board of Assessors Opening
The Town of Maynard is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a member on the Maynard Board of Assessors. The duties of the position include: supervision of the appraisal of residential, commercial, industrial and personal property; data analysis for property classification; determining abatement and exemption eligibilities; testifying on behalf of the Town at the Appellate Tax Board and meeting with constituents to discuss valuations. The Board typically meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm. The term of this appointments ends on June 30, 2009. This is a volunteer position but does include a $1,000.stipend.
