The Maynard Recreation Department is initiating a new “Buy a Brick Program” at the Memorial Gym. We will be offering two different sized bricks to purchase that will fit all budgets. All funds raised in this program will go directly into maintenance and repair of the gym. A separate account will be maintained with money raised from this project.
The large bricks that are in the front entrance of the lobby are 11 inches by 5 inches and are tan in color and will be sold for a donation of $40.00 each. You may have your family name/individual names or an approved personal message (as long as it fits in the area) inscribed by us in permanent black lettering and seal coated. We will reserve 2 lines measuring 3inches by ½ inch each in the bottom left and right corners to of your brick to place your home town and year donated.
The small bricks that are in the front entrance of the lobby are 8 inches by 3 inches, are red in color, and will be sold for a donation of $20.00 each. You can have your family name or one individual name inscribed by us in permanent white lettering and seal coated. We reserve 1 line measuring 2 inches by ½ inch in the bottom right corner to place the year donated.
All checks are payable to Maynard Recreation and please write “Brick Program” in memo area of check, then mail to Maynard Recreation 195 Main Street, Maynard, Ma. 01754 along with the request form. We will inform you by email upon receipt of request and mail you a confirmation letter with a picture and “certificate of purchase” once your brick has been lettered. We will do our best to honor your requests of locations of bricks as space allows.
