Fire Hits Driscoll Ave Home

The Maynard Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 5 Driscoll Ave on September 24th, 2011. The time of the reported fire was 4:32 pm and the fire department arrived at 4:36 pm. The first arriving unit reported heavy smoke showing from the structure. The fire was brought quickly under control by the fast action of the firefighters who responded and was called under control at 4:40pm.  Smoke and fire debris were removed from the building and all companies cleared back to quarters at 5:26pm. There were no report fire fighter or civilian injuries. There was extensive smoke damage to the structure with minimal fire and water damage. The fire is under investigation at this time as well as the estimated dollar loss.
