Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street (Soup Campbell Room), to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Stamsky and McNary, 1000 Main Street, Action Ma. 01720 of behalf of Victory Center LLC, of 6 Proctor St., Acton MA, 01720. Consistent with Sections 3.0, 10.4, and 10.5 of the Zoning by-laws and the Planning Board Rules and Regulations, the request is to amend the approved Site Plan and Special Permits for the property located at 86A Powdermill Road, Maynard, MA.
The property currently contains a vacant 200 square foot ATM building and an interior parcel with separate ownership. The proposed plan replaces the existing structure with an 800 square foot drive-thru coffee shop. The applicant is requesting Special Permits to allow for a fast food restaurant and drive-thru facility. The project will result in the removal of nine (9) parking spaces and the dedication of four (4) spaces to the proposed structure. The reduction of up to 14 parking spaces to accommodate future development of the parcel was authorized by the previous Planning Board approval for the site.
