Annual Budget and Capital Planning Meeting – Aug 11th

The Board of Selectmen encourage the public to attend their upcoming meeting scheduled for 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 (via Zoom teleconference), as they deliberate on the proposed revisions to the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) General Fund budget. The proposed revision is detailed in a draft warrant article for the Special Town Meeting scheduled for October 5, 2020. The deliberation is expected to be in context of already accepted warrant articles for capital planning, including: the transfer from General Stabilization for the funding of a feasibility study to explore the possibility of replacing/renovating the Green Meadow School; a Debt Exclusion to fund the construction of a new Fire Station; transfers from Capital Stabilization for the procurement of major capital expenditures.
