Rep. Trahan Invites Residents to a Redistricting Hearing – July 8th.

The Massachusetts’ Special Joint Committee on Redistricting is holding a virtual hearing for residents in the Third Congressional District on Thursday, July 8th at 6:00 p.m.  Please see the below details.

Massachusetts has begun its redistricting process. This means electoral district boundaries will be redrawn using the most recent Census data to ensure that every person has fair representation at the local, state, and federal levels.

You know better than anyone that community representation matters. This year’s redistricting process will have a huge impact on the future of cities and towns across the Commonwealth and their access to critical funding for the next decade — and we need your voice in this process!

That’s why, on Thursday, July 8th at 6pm, the Massachusetts’ Special Joint Committee on Redistricting is holding a virtual hearing for residents in the Third District. I’ll be there, and I would love for you to join me! So, please make sure you RSVP today!

WHO: You!
WHAT: MA-3 Virtual Hearing on Redistricting
WHEN: Thursday, July 8th at 6PM ET

WHY: We need your voice in the redistricting process!

It’s important to me that no one is left behind in this process. If you’re unable to join us live for the hearing, the Committee is also accepting written testimony from anyone who would like to participate.

So, whether you join us live on July 8th or submit your testimony in advance, I hope you’ll add your voice to this conversation.

Sincerely,
   Lori Trahan
