Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.9 & s.15, the Maynard Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a REMOTE public hearing on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. via ZOOM Video, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by Blatman, Bobrowski and Haverty, LLC, 9 Damonmill Square, Suite 4A4, Concord, MA 01742 on behalf of the Owner/Applicant C&S Maynard, LLC: C/O Coffman Realty, Inc., 632 Washington Street, South Easton, MA 02375.
Consistent with Sections 5.1.3 and 10.2 of the Zoning By-laws, the Applicant is requesting Special Permits for Victory Plaza, 86 Powder Mill Road, Maynard. The Application requests authorization to extend a pre-existing non-conformity (encroachment into side setback). If granted, the request will allow construction of a riverfront observation platform that will extend the existing non-conformity. The Special Permit Application also requests a change of use (to “grocery store”) and will require a finding by the board that the change shall not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood.
