As stated in Special Condition 8 of the Massachusetts Water Management Acts permit the Maynard Public Water Supply is required to implement and enforce a non-essential outdoor water use restriction starting May 1, 2020 through October 1, 2020. (Approved by the Select Board on April 14, 2020.)
Under the Level 1 Water Use Restriction, non-essential outdoor water use is prohibited between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

The Recycling Drop Off Center will be open 8am – noon for the following Saturdays in 2020:
- April 11 – CANCELLED
- May 9 (including chipping)
- June 13
- August 8th – CANCELLED (Household Hazardous Waste ONLY)
- September 12
- October 10
- November 14 (includes chipping)

Effective January 1, 2020 the Town of Maynard’s “Pay-As-You-Throw” program implemented changes to the sticker price and usage requirements for Town wide solid waste pickup to the following amounts:
Effective January 1, 2020
|15-gallon bag sticker
|32-gallon bag sticker
|Bulk items that weigh less than 39 lbs. or up to three feet long
