Legal Notice: Signage Hearing – Emerson Hospital – May 14th

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Viewpoint Sign & Awning, 35 Lyman St., Northboro, MA 01532 on behalf of Emerson Hospital, 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742.

Consistent with Section 6.2.11 of the Zoning By-Laws, the petitioner is requesting special permit approval for building signage that exceeds maximum square footage allowed by the Zoning By-laws to be located at 21 Main Street.

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 138, as amended, that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7:10 p.m. in the Michael J. Gianotis Meeting Room (No. 201) at the Maynard Town Building on the application for a New Retail Restaurant License on premise for All Alcohol Beverages as a Common Victualler license for 110 Grill MC Maynard LLC d/b/a 110 Grill at 9 Digital Way, Maynard, MA. Legal Notice: Planning Board – Greenstar Herbals – May 14th

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, Soup Campbell Room, to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Thomas Morey, President, Greenstar Herbals, Inc., 310 Flagg Hill Road, Boxborough, MA 01719.

Consistent with Sections 3.0, 7.9, 9.4.6 and 10.4 of the Zoning By-laws, and the Planning Board Rules and Regulations, the petitioner is requesting a Special Permit to operate a marijuana retail establishment in the Central Business zoning district at 24 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754.

Legal Notice: Planning Board Public Hearing – 21 Summer St – Apr 23rd

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, Soup Campbell Room to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Glenn Davis, 43 Woodrow Street, Hudson MA 01749 on behalf of Steven Trumble, 1 Sauta Farm Way, Hudson, MA 01749, requesting Site Plan review to allow construction of walk-up windows and façade changes for the proposed Theatre Creams be located at 21 Summer Street, Maynard, MA 01754. The project area is located in an existing structure adjacent to the Fine Arts Theatre, and is located within the Business Zoning District.

ZBA Legal Notice: MFD Variance Petition – Mar 25th

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, Room 101 to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by the Town of Maynard Fire Department, 1 Summer Street, Maynard, MA 01754.

The subject property, 1 Summer Street (Town of Maynard Fire Station), is located within the Business (B) District. The petitioner is requesting the renewal of a Variance from Section 4 of the Zoning By-laws to provide relief from both the required 15 foot rear setback and relief from the required 15 foot side setback. The request, if renewed, would continue to allow a temporary structure with a rear setback of approximately 1 foot and side setback of approximately 7 feet.

CPC Annual Public Hearing Notice – Feb 27th

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Maynard Community Preservation Committee (CPC) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main St., Maynard, MA, Room 101(lower level) pursuant to Town of Maynard General By-Laws, Chapter XI, Community Preservation Committee By-Law for the purpose of providing general information on the needs, possibilities and resources of the Town regarding community preservation as stipulated in said By-Law and to determine funding for this fiscal year.

The CPC seeks input from the public before making its decision on which proposals to recommend to Town Meeting for funding. A positive recommendation by the CPC will send proposal(s) to the 2019 Spring Town Meeting where voters will decide whether or not to fund the project(s) from the Town’s Community Preservation Fund.
