The Maynard Conservation Commission will hold a remote public hearing on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 6:30PM via Zoom, relative to the filing of a Notice of Intent under the MA Wetlands Protection Act, the Maynard Wetlands Administration Bylaw and associated Regulations, and the Maynard Stormwater Management Bylaw and associated regulations, filed by Walter Eriksen, Old Bay Road LLC., 92 Middlesex Road, Unit 3, Tyngsboro, MA 01879. The proposed project includes clearing of vegetation, grading associated with utilities, and the development of five (5) single family dwellings and accessory structures within 100 feet of a bordering vegetated wetland located at Assessor’s Map #29, Lot 6 (also known as 0 Parker Street).

The subject property, 2-6 Powder Mill Road, is located within the Business District and is a legal non-conforming structure. Consistent with Section 5.1.3 of Maynard Zoning By-laws, the petitioner is requesting a Special Permit to reconstruct the existing non-conforming building and parking area on site, for the purpose of constructing a retail market.

The Maynard Conservation Commission will hold a remote public hearing on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 6:30PM via Zoom, relative to the filing of a Notice of Intent under the MA Wetlands Protection Act and the Maynard Wetlands Administration Bylaw, filed by the Town of Maynard, 195 Main Street, Maynard MA. The proposed project includes the redevelopment of the Thomas Street Conservation Commission property (Map 14 Lot 57) to include a small parking area, picnic tables, and invasive vegetation removal at a proposed riverfront viewing area/park within the Riverfront Area, floodplain, and within the 100 foot buffer of the bordering vegetated wetland .

Legal Notice: Planning Board Hearing Cancelled – re: 129 Parker St.

The remote Public Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, September  22, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to consider revocation of the Special Permit for Maynard Crossing as contained in the Planning Board Decision dated August 16, 2017 has been canceled, as the noncompliance with the terms specified in the Special Permit Conditions of Approval has been settled.

The applicant is requesting approval of a Definitive Subdivision for a property identified on Property Assessor’s Map 29, Parcel 6.  The applicant is proposing to subdivide the parcel into four (4) residential lots with single family houses located along the proposed cull-de-sac.

Legal Notice: Planning Board Zoning Bylaw Public Hearing – Aug 11

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a remote public hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to consider recommending approval of an amendment to the Maynard Protective Zoning By- laws to the October 5, 2020 Special Town Meeting.  The proposed amendment consists of the following:

To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town of Maynard Zoning Map to reflect an amendment to the Water Supply Protection District Map dated March 2017 to include the parcels (or portions thereof) as noted on Assessors Map 28, Lot 1; Map 23,  Lot 12; Map 24, Lot 14; Map 24, Lot 15; Map 25, Lot 152.1; Map 25, Lot 152.2; and Map 25, 152.3 and which includes a new well source, known as Well 4A, as shown on the Amended Map dated July, 2020 and which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk Office.
