Legal Notice: Planning Board Public Hearing – Coolidge School, July 14

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom, to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Civico Development, 199 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757, to grant a Special Permit and Site Plan approval with waivers, for the Coolidge School located at 12 Bancroft Street.

Legal Notice: Planning Board Hearing on ZBL Amendments – May 26

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. via Remote Meeting to consider recommending approval of amendments to the Maynard Protective Zoning By- laws to the June 13, 2020 Town Meeting. The proposed amendments consist of replacing all references within the Zoning By-laws from “Board of Selectmen” to “Select Board”.  This amendment would also apply to abbreviated references as well changing “BOS” to “SB” throughout the Zoning By-laws.

The Planning Board is the sponsor of this article. A copy of the proposed Zoning By-law amendment is on file with the Office of Municipal Services Office, Planning Division and the Town Clerk’s Office, and can be found on the Town website, or by contacting 978-897-1302.

Legal Notice: Planning Board Hearing – April 14th

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m to hear all persons interested in the petition filed by SBA Monarch Towers I, LLC, 8051 Congress Avenue, Boca Raton, Florida 33487. As a Covid-19/Coronavirus prevention measure, this hearing will be conducted as a remote meeting.

The petitioner is requesting a two year renewal for the current Telecommunications Special Permit per Section 7.5 of the Zoning By-Laws, for the existing tower located at 129 Acton Street, Maynard, MA 01754.

Legal Notice – Planning Board – Mar 24th

18-MAR-2020: THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD VIA CONFERENCE CALL

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5 and s.9, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, Soup Campbell Room, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by the owner and petitioner Maynard Crossings JV, LLC – Capital Group Properties, 259 Turnpike Road, Southborough, MA 01772.

The Petitioner is requesting Special Permit approval for a Drive-Thru use (Bank) at the Maynard Crossings (129 Parker Street) mixed-use development.

This request is pursuant to Sections 3.0, 9.3 and 10.4 of the Zoning By-laws and the Concept Plan approved by Town Meeting on October 5, 2016.

A copy of the application packages, the approved Concept Plan , and related materials are on file with the Office of Municipal Services Office, and can be viewed during normal business hours.

Legal Notice: Zoning Board – Mar 23rd

18-MAR-2020: THIS MEETING IS BEING HELD VIA CONFERENCE CALL

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Maynard, Room 101 to hear all persons interested in the Petition filed by Civico Development, 199 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757, to grant three (3) Variances for the Coolidge School located 12 Bancroft Street.

The subject property is currently owned by the Town of Maynard, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA. 01754. This request is to facilitate private development of the Coolidge School. If granted, the requested Variances would:

  1. Allow an “Approval not Required” (ANR) lot division that will create a non-conforming structure. The ANR will create two parcels and must be granted by the Planning Board.
  2. Allow increased density on an undersized lot for the GR (General Residence) zoning district (12-units).
  3. Allow a reduced rear setback of less than 15 feet.

Legal Notice: Planning Board Public Hearing on Master Plan – Mar 10th

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 41 s.81 D, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Maynard Town Building, 195 Main Street, Soup Campbell Room, to review and adopt the 2020 Master Plan as prepared by VHB and the Master Plan Steering Committee

A copy of the draft 2020 Master Plan is on file with the Office of Municipal Services Office, Planning Division, and the Town Clerk’s Office, and can be viewed during regular business hours .
