Mission Statement

The mission of the Maynard Recreation Commission is to enhance the quality of life in the community through facilities, activities and programs that encourage health, fitness and recreation.  Our vision is to create and sustain thriving parks, fields and open space that will be resilient and sustainable.  The Maynard Recreation Commission fosters the town’s recreational needs through efficient use and care of space and assets to best serve the populace.

Maynard Recreation Basketball

REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR THE 2021 – 2022 SEASON!

Maynard Recreation Basketball is for Grades 3 – 8 (for both Boys and Girls) and runs from November to February:
  • PRACTICES: One per week
  • GAMES: One per week
  • COST: $125 first child / $100 each additional child
  • NO TRYOUTS!
  • ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!
  • REGISTER by October 30th to guarantee your child a spot on a team.

Meeting Agendas and Minutes

The Recreation Commission generally meets monthly at the Town Municipal Building, 195 Main Street. Notices for all meetings are posted at the Town Hall at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date. All meetings are open to the public.
