Maynard Rental Assistance Program (MRAP) 

is administered by the Regional Housing Services Office (RHSO) and funded through the Maynard Affordable Housing Trust.

Who is eligible?

  • Applicants must be current residents of Maynard.
  • Applicant’s monthly rent must be less than or equal to:
1 bedroom2 bedroom3 bedroom4 bedroom

  • Households must demonstrate that they spend more than 30% of their gross annual income on rent and certain utilities, including heat, electricity and water sewer, if applicable.
  • Gross annual household income must not exceed the following:

60% AMI Limits, calculated based on Section 8 guidelines, effective May 2023.

  • Applicants may not currently receive other rental assistance from a local, state or federal program (Section 8, MRVP, Housing Authority, RAFT).
  • Applicants must not currently own any real estate property.
