Maynard Zoning Board of Appeals
Public Hearing Date: Monday, April 22, 2024, 7:00 PM
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a remote public hearing on ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the application submitted by Joanna Morales, 219 Bishop Drive, Framingham, MA 01702.
The subject property, 6 Glendale Street, Maynard, MA 01754, is a pre-existing nonconforming business located in the Business zoning district (B). The subject property’s current use is as an auto detailing shop. The applicant is proposing the use of auto body repair. Because the structure on subject property is non-conforming due to insufficient frontage and setbacks, a finding by the Board is required per Section 5.1.2 of the Protective Zoning By-laws, that the proposed use of an auto body shop would not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood.
A separate Special Permit from the Planning Board will be required for the proposed auto body shop.
