The Maynard Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is seeking an At-Large member of the community to be appointed by the Select Board for a three-year term. All interested residents are welcome to submit a Volunteer Application to the Town.
The duties of the CPC are to study the needs, possibilities, and resources of the Town regarding community preservation initiatives, which include open space and recreation, community housing, and historic preservation. All meetings of the CPC are open to the public. Generally, the Maynard CPC meets the first and third Wednesday evening of each month. The CPC also holds at least one annual public hearing to gather community input on projects and funding possibilities.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. All members are required to be appointed by the Select Board.
