Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 7:00 PM

 

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing at Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754 and on ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by the owner Robert Giese, 78 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754.

 

The subject property, 78-80 Main Street, is a pre-existing nonconforming structure on a nonconforming lot in the Downtown Overlay District with underlying zoning in the Central Business District. The applicant requests Special Permit approval to convert the property from mixed-use to multifamily residential use and proposes the addition of two units for a total of four housing units, with no changes to the building footprint.
