The Maynard ADA Commission is currently seeking new membership.
We need a couple more members to make sure that we are a strong team. Could that be you?
To be a member you need to either be disabled or have a close friend or relative with a disability. These are the ADA guidelines for a disability: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a disability as a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities. This includes conditions like physical disabilities, mental health conditions, sensory impairments (like hearing or vision loss), chronic illnesses, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Major life activities include functions such as walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, learning, working, and more.
Our Commission meets once a month on the second Tuesday of the month from 7-8:30.
Reach out if you think you can help. Email or call the Town Clerk: clerk@townofmayard.net or Phone: 978-897-1300 Ext. 4
