On Tuesday 9/2/2025 the Department of Public Works was informed that a fire hydrant was utilized by the Fire Department in responding to an emergency in the area of Glendale Street. Utilization of fire hydrants can cause water in our system to be disturbed leading to discoloration. The hydrant usage today caused discoloration in the Downtown Area from Glendale to Main Street. We expect this discoloration to be temporary.
