Maynard Planning Board
Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 7:00 PM
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing at Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard MA. 01754 and on ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the Site Plan Review application submitted by Huntress Associates, Inc., 17 Tewksbury St., Andover, MA 01810. The subject property, Maynard High School, is located at 1 Tiger Drive and owned by the Town of Maynard.
Per sections 10.4 and 10.5 of the Zoning By-Laws, petitioner is requesting Site Plan Review for demolition & removal of the existing home-side bleachers and pressbox and replacement with a new 950-seat bleacher and pressbox structure in approximately the same location compliant with current Massachusetts Architectural Access Board (MAAB) and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) requirements.
Additionally, the project will include the construction of a new bathroom/concession and storage building in compliance with 248 CMR 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code. Final improvements will include new utilities, walkway upgrades and drainage improvements to ensure all facilities at Alumni Field are code-compliant.
