Maynard Planning Board
Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, August 6, 2024, 7:00 PM
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing at Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754 and on ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by Brennan Consulting, 24 Ray Ave. Ste. 203, Burlington, MA 01803. The subject property, Green Meadow Elementary School, is located at 5 Tiger Drive and is owned by the Town of Maynard.
Per sections 10.4 and 10.5 of the Zoning By-Laws, petitioner is requesting Site Plan Review for construction of the new Green Meadow Elementary School. This project is an educational facility; under Section 3 of Chapter 40A, the project review is limited to considerations of bulk and height of the structures and determining yard sizes, lot area, setbacks, open space, parking, lighting and building coverage requirements. Beyond these areas of regulation, educational facilities are otherwise exempt from all other zoning controls.
