Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 7:00 PM

 

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing at Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754 and on ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by the Law Office of Walter J. Sullivan, 33 Garrison Road, Hingham, MA 02043, on behalf of Sugarloaf Maynard LLC, 16 Holden Road, Belmont, MA.

 

Consistent with Sections 3.0, 7.9, 9.4.6 and 10.0 of the Zoning By-laws, the petitioner is requesting Special Permit and Site Plan approval to operate an adult-use marijuana retail establishment in the Central Business Zoning District/Downtown Overlay District at 25 Nason Street.

 

The petitioner previously had received a Special Permit and Site Plan approval for this location and layout, but must reapply for the Special Permit due to the time lapse between permitting and construction per Sections 10.4.9 and 10.5.10 of the Zoning By-laws. The request remains identical.
