The Town will hold two public information sessions about Maynard Power Choice:
- Thursday, July 24, 7:00 PM – Maynard Public Library, Roosevelt Room, (77 Nason Street) and via Zoom
- Tuesday, July 29 at 1 PM – Maynard Senior Center (50 Brown Street)
Maynard Power Choice is a community electricity buying program for Maynard residents and businesses. Using the purchasing power of our community, the program will provide:
- Prices that are lower than Eversource’s prices at launch
- Stable and consistent pricing until November 2027
- Options to receive more electricity from renewable sources
Maynard Power Choice will launch in September 2025. More than 200 other Massachusetts communities have similar programs.
